I'm back! Took last Wednesday off, both because I was already uploading the Canada Day Improv that day, and so that season three of Improv Weekly will have 13 tracks just like the first two seasons. In that time, I happened to be introduced to pianist and composer Nikolai Kapustin, very shortly before he passed away on July 2. The opening theme of this recording is taken from his acclaimed Concert Etudes.
